Great samurai movie, so much better than Yojimbo. Great action (with an incredible finale!), great use of humor—the closet guy was hilarious, so we’re some scenes with the women and the celebration scene.

Love how he had to father all those knuckleheads. Perfect for what it is.

A story, an ally, an intricate chess game between two gentlemen, Toshirô Mifune & Tatsuya Nakadai going toe to toe in some incredible scenes, absolutely legendary, honestly after careful consideration Akira Kurosawa might be wholeheartedly one of my favorite directors of all time

a great sequel to yojimbo—just as action packed, hilarious, and entertaining. would also watch again

While Toshirō Mifune shows up in nearly all of Kurosawa's movies, I'm sad we won't get that Good, Bad, & the Ugly epic with The Ronin, he's so much more interesting to me than Joe
