It’s a very interesting concept and I thought the special effects were done really well. Acting is solid. Production value seemed relatively high and it just felt well-made. I wished it had been scarier. The trailer really had me expecting scares that weren’t really delivered. It’s an interesting story though, if not a little unsure of its messaging.

Obsessed with the metaphorical portrayal of just how horrifying eating disorders can be- and the ways in which they also destroy relationships/the people around you. And it’s an Aussie film too?!?!? Freaking amazing

This film is something I wasn’t expecting. The dark imagery and atmosphere created in this film are unique. The suspense and dread this film was filled with made it an interesting story and an enjoyable time.

Loved the pragmatic protagonist, and trying to figure out this demon/curse using logic. Really interesting take on body dysmorphia and eating disorders and blending that into a horror.

Stylish, vile, shocking, awesome. Killer ensemble. Rockin body horror that wears its inspiration on its sleeve and has a lot to say. I especially loved the various cultural influences. Expertly dissects the unique relationships everyone has with their own body. Worth a watch, especially if you loved The Substance, though it isn’t quite to the same level of camp. Would like to see more from this filmmaker!

Fucking weirdass movie, I did feel it dragged on a bit and especially the actual binge eating part felt way too long for me but overall very fun and insanely weird.
