9/10 - Loved this film, but I could be a bit bias because I’m an F1 fan and lover of cars. Nevertheless it feels very good to have a great F1 film out there that shows the risks and challenges of the sport, but also the rewards and friends you make along the way. Great cast also.

Not sure what all the hype was about. Thought it was boring and pretty corny at parts

Kinda good, kinda boring, kinda forced, kinda brilliant, kinda a good story, kinda choppy. Would I watch it again? No. Would I recommend it? Sure

Rush
- Great representation of Otrish by Niki 🇦🇹
- The second half of this movie was so goated with the Japan rain race
- The two characters having such differences in egos was played out perfectly by the actors

9/10 Are you a Niki fan? What??? Am I a Niki fan!? (/ref). This is such a good biopic by someone who obviously loves and appreciates Niki as much as me. Truly a love letter of sorts as you watch and nearly experience his life, including his hardships and rivalry with James Hunt.

I can’t relate with Hunt, my form of viewing life is more like Lauda. Very interesting movie, so well done.

❤️ Nicki Lauda, I didn't know him except for a joke cameo on a cine-panettone. This was an amazing story

i know i shouldn’t be but i really can’t help but compare this movie to f1. they’re really not that similar but it’s hard not to. f1 has far better race cinematics but rush has a better story. dialogue is fairly simple in each, which matters less for f1. f1 is better fs but i enjoyed this in an entirely different way. beginning was a little difficult to follow but the rest was great.
i like the idea of two polar opposite protagonists. of course people are always going to choose a favorite (niki lauda is sm better) but i think the point is that you can have two strikingly different approaches to life and formula 1 and still be considered the best in the world. at the end of the day, one was willing to put racing above their own life, and the other wasn’t. that’s a dope ass theme and it’s even cooler that this is a true story. i obviously did not experience this in 1976 but it seems to be a very accurate retelling.
niki lauda was my favorite, partly because i thought his approach was the correct one and partly because i think james hunt, as a character, could have been much more fleshed out. i guess it’s hard to have character progression for a character who is based on someone who actually lived a crazy playboy lifestyle, but i still think there could have been more introspective for him.
one thing that hunt definitely got right is that life is meant to be enjoyed. couldn’t agree with that more.

Another amazing racing film. This movie made me feel inspired and made me believe that even the worst case scenario can be overcome.
