I am impressed with the depth that everyone has. I thought ruby was going to be a manic pixie dream girl and this was a warning against idolizing that but instead she is so fully a person that at the climax i was staring in shock and horror at what was happening

I really enjoyed the movie, had me super focused while I was on the treadmill lol , the only reason why I don’t LOVE it is cuz the MC pmo especially when he went out w Ruby to his parents house PMO PMO. Overall I loved the plot and house Ruby was able to be her own person

The unconditional research of a true and perfect love. This movie eviscerates the human ego and its constant need for control.
In the limited race which is life, we always look for the defectless partner and relationship. This movie proves us that we should give up our inborders.

I went into Ruby Sparks expecting a quirky romance and got psychological horror instead.

Horrible film, it’s just pure misogyny throughout with the lead guy doing awful things and facing no comeuppance. Gross.
