I give this movie a 1000000/10. this is my favorite movies now. The movie was very omg.

I love roxanne roxanne, this movie partially inspired me to start rapping a bit. i’ve watched it so many times already ive lost count. the storytelling is so amazing, and the scenes are so deep. i will watch again soon most likely.

Trauma porn

I just wish there was more after she got her baby back from Cross

Movie was okay but it made me a bit uncomfortable with certain scenes it showcased her trauma all in one it was predictable bc its the similar things most bw went through in the early 2000’s the purpose of this movie was to tell someone’s upbringing story and i can respect that.

It was decent

Times can't count how many times I've watched this, if this movie wasn't made I feel like roxxane's legacy would've been forgotten. She went through so much at such a young age, it broke my heart.
