An improvement from the first. Again a lack of a good plot is seen. The movie wastes away until the final fight. His relationship with his wife was never fully built.

Rocky II contains the flaws of the original: simplistic characterizations, saccharine romance, a tendency to cuteness. But it also fills the heart and quickens the pulse.

So fucking good. Somehow better than the first. Top 5 all time for me.
I love how it’s got the same desperate tone as the first but with more development and reason to care.
The fight’s so fun (not perfect but who gives?), and I don’t think it’s as unreal as people claim.

Even better than the first. Still slower in the beginning but once it picks up, buckle up buttercup cause it'll get you pumped. It's 4:45 AM and I still haven't slept. I made a mistake of watching this before bed. Idk if I'll ever be able to fall asleep now 8.9/10

Not a good follow up. Bad story and bad acting. The fights scenes were even worse.
