After years of unintentionally avoiding this movie, I finally sat down and watched it. Many times I have watched an “all time classic” movie and been a little disappointed, but this simply wasn’t that case. Amazing movie! 9/10

Rocky is one of my favorite movies of all time.
Not only is the music & score as memorable and badass as everyone talks about but the story itself is absolutely remarkable.

It’s a great example of the perfect “underdog story” .

100% deserved the Oscar, and I am glad it won 🏆

A great movie. The acting is good, and it does indeed feel very real. I actually really liked the love story between Rocky and Adrian too. But it does feel slow at times, and could have been shorter. Oh and also, the soundtrack is awesome.
8/10 movie.

Such a great slow burn that just gets you going. Best feel-good movies.
There are so many small moments, details and practices in this movie that make it incredible.
The grainy visuals are perfect, most shots look like paintings.

I do dig the 2nd more, but this movie is great

Classic

Comforting. It give a very realistic feel, like they just filmed somebody’s life not like it was scripted. The action, the love, the abuse, the rivalry, and friendship, put it over the top.
Probably my favorite movie ever.

This movie was very iconic, but just because it’s iconic doesn’t mean it’s a fantastic movie. This movie is pretty mid before the training montage and fight scene, which are amazing.

I know I’m gonna get some hate for this one but there just wasn’t too much special about this for me. This movie would never be cool in 2023 because of the SA stuff and also the fight would’ve been stopped so early

Pointless ending you can just watch rocky one up until the last fight and skip to the end of rocky 2 and watch that fight instead to lead into rocky 3

Pleasantly surprised. I don’t usually care for sport films but Stallone really just made it feel like he was just living and cameras were following.

I know this is a movie that almost everyone has probably seen already but I just must say I’m disappointed that I didn’t watch this movie sooner. This was a very entertaining film and I do not at all regret watching it. Very good classic and Stallone is awesome. 10/10 for me

Slow, lack of plot, and boring. Ending was mediocre.

Very inspiring movie about an underdog unsatisfied with life making himself known and slowly rising to success. The romance is a little forced but is still cute considering the characters backgrounds and personalities.

Like the movies of Frank Capra, Rocky is a glowing tribute to the human spirit - a chin-up reminder that the decent, little guys of the world often accomplish the impossible if only because they try so hard.

Theirs no doubting this is a classic. It’s a low budget movie that is really well acted and the story is masterfully told. It’s raw as can be and you can almost smell the streets. The soundtrack of course great. Give this one a go
