Brutal,
it is a hard movie to review without having seen the original -something i plan to remedy in the near future- as anything i might say would be compared to the 1987 version, but i did enjoy it

i watched this fully assuming it was the 1987 version. it genuinely took me until i looked up the cast list afterwards and didn’t see samuel l jackson. was decent though 7.5/10
