Road House

Annoying and boring. Almost nothing happens, but when something does, it's cringe to the point it annoys you. The characters were annoying, and everything was mediorce. I expected it to be honest, but I think I expected a bit more. I haven't watched the original, but I know it has to be 10x better than this. The fights were cool, but it's a fighting movie, so it had to be somewhat good, and the locations were cool, but the characters ruined them. I forced my way through the first half just to see how bad Mcgregors acting was, and I tried to stay for the one sided laughs. Average at best.

It was powered with so many great fist fights, mixed with some cool jazz, background music and the dry comedy, and voila: an awesome Jack Gyllenhaal movie. But sadly, there are some drawbacks: 1. the dull and unmotivated side characters; 2. the cheap ending, it was disappointing.

got too much hype imo. yes the fight scenes are really well executed. but man, the cgi was not it, there were so many unnecessary cuts, story was all over the place. but i will say the camera work was great, and jake of course dominated. also conor was funny af haha. 7 / 10

The background of the hero was not as engaging as the original. My favorite part of the whole movie was the dopey criminal guy who was the comedic element. I was also pretty amazed by MacGregor; I totally bought his character and he was a lot of fun and also totally scary.

Movie was good pretty average but good. But fuck Conor McGregor he’s a disgusting pile of garbage that should rot in jail or be put in a Guillotine - now that’s something I’d rather watch They should’ve cast a real actor for that role anyways.

not my normal type of movie but i enjoyed it. very good. never saw the original but heard it was a remake
