Unrealistic and the characters would’ve died from blood loss about 5 times but that’s what makes it great

first third is extremely difficult to watch but every choice in it was very crucial to the film’s ultimate subversion & critique of the male gaze

SA warning. I wasn’t expecting it. Brief but there. Had some nice and creative shots. More gore than I expected. It was too long. Dragged on. Everyone over the top super human. Not realistic at all. Should have died several times. The final chase scene was ridiculous.

It really lives up to its name, Revenge.
Really enjoyed it and i recommend it!!!

This was nuts. Gorgeous directing and locations, great practical effects, and a pretty solid final girl, although the fact she was in that situation in the first place means she has the survival instinct of a pumpkin. Someone should let the writer know that humans NEED blood.

I’ve been wanting to watch this for 6 years now and just never got the chance. I just watched it and omg. I regret not seeing it sooner. Appreciated the fact that the SA scene was offscreen. And omgggg… The colors- the lighting- the main character- THE SCORE- THE REVENGE- OMGG

Our lead actress? Strong. Stunning. The men? Disgusting. Dastardly. The visuals? Remarkable. The pink star earrings? Iconic. The music? Inspired. Fighting while naked? Nightmarish. The gore? Unrelenting. The butts? Also unrelenting.

Women always have to put up a fight.

Definitely keeps you guessing. Good watch for sure

A decent revenge thriller, but one that’s been done before.

An sich guter Film, passend zum Titel. Was mich nur die ganze Zeit beschäftigt hat waren die vielen Logikfehler. Viele sachen die ich hinterfragen und komisch fand sowie Szenen die sehr unrealistisch wirkten. Teilweise nur halbwegs spannend und von vorne bis hinten vorhersehbar.

not bad but how much blood do they have? there was more blood on the house than there was water in the pool. movie was dragged out and it was kinda boring in some parts, just didnt make much sense and left too many questions in the end

I loved this movie so much. Is it unrealistic? Very much, but it’s fun and entertaining. Jen is one of the best final girls in my opinion- totally badass.

I was pretty hooked for the opening minutes. Drenched in brightness and colour, a rarity nowadays - feeling that similar vibe from The Substance.

Just a wildly entertaining film, I knew it would be gory after seeing Fargeat’s gore fetish showcased in The Substance. Although it made me a bit apprehensive that the she would go too far with showing the vulgar sexual assault acts early on… it didn’t. In fact is showed just enough and effectively showed the actions of others whilst them acts were going on.

Big fan of the performances all around here. Matilda Lutz was incredible, playing both sides of the coin her character is given - transforming wonderfully into this “angel of revenge” for the second half.

The finale was dizzyingly fantastic, excellent staging for that sequence. The only thing letting it down is a bit of a lull in the 2nd act where it meanders. Looking forward to what Fargeat does next.

HELL HATH NO FURY LIKE A WOMAN SCORNED. i went into this movie completely blind and unaware of its genres or topic. trigger warning to the max tho. rape, violence, and gore factors are through the roof. last chase was corny asf and everyone would’ve died from blood loss LOL

This movie is insanely visually pleasing, every frame looked like a painting, loved it’s vibrant, detailed color grading, impeccable composition and genius framing. The story is peak too, this what “Ready or Not” think it is lol.

One of the most creative ways I've seen a revenge thriller told. People complaining about the unrealistic violence had the message fly right over their heads. Fargeat is quickly turning into one of my favorite directors.
