I need more sequels to take a hard turn into a completely new genre. Makes the movie so much less predictable and a LOT more intriguing. Scarecrow will haunt my dreams

The best movie of all times! I must have watch it 100 times already and still gives me goose bumps! This movie was much truer to Baum’s book series.
Little scary for small kids…so I recommend 12 years old & +. I terrified my lil sister imitating the part of the creepy Wheelers!

40 minutes wasn’t necessary and it wasn’t funny at all however it holds up well but overall definitely a kids only film 5.5/10

It’s Wizard of Oz in name alone. There is literally no other connection to the original.

this movie is so charming and whimsical and although i adore the 30s adaptation, this is much more faithful to the books
i was obsessed with all of the fun characters and the story was very sweet :( a bit too scary for children though

the only way to describe this is that it’s what a bad acid trip feels like

Watched this once and couldn’t get into it but then I watched with a little help and really liked it.

this is such an underrated movie. i loved this growing up and gave a more eerie vibe to the wizard of oz story. definitely recommend watching if you haven’t especially if you’re a fan of the wizard of oz
