did not need to be 2 hours, the old dudes and other side characters had too much screen time and they hardly had anything interesting to say. the direction and script was bland and boring. i loved the scene where he tells the dog that “she isn’t coming home” very sad

So good and so depressing lol

A pretty good, quite funny rom-com.  It's strength is in the endlessly charming family dynamic.  Duchovny and Driver are solid leads & make for a cute pair.  The plot is a unique premise, with some middling execution and some pretty contrived drama, but I expect that w/ rom-coms.

Such a wholesome romantic comedy with a little bit of humor

Predictable. Just how I liked it. A real nice feel good.

Its cheesy as hell but i bawled my little eyes out in the end, theyre so cute together and its so healthy, not used to that in such old movies
