Jennifer completely ate this role up as expected, the pacing of the movie itself could have been a little faster but overall made me just gain so much appreciation for both Aretha and Jennifer!

Jennifer Hudson ate this UP. No seriously. They left a couple of gaps that weren’t in her actual biography, but it makes sense to; since they are painting her in a different light. Good watch.
