For a 2007 movie after he did Batman begins I’m sure he regretted this. CGI was horrible, audio was horrible and they did a lot of sneaking around/whispering where sound is key. I’m picturing a random in his role and this movie was a 5/10 at best.

Only watch if you really like POW or Batman.

A great on the edge survival story carried by Christian Bale’s extraordinary performance. He truly is one of our greatest actors that can’t turn down a great performance.

This film was pure adrenaline and survival. It wasn’t too riddled with nationalist propaganda, and more so the experience and torture Dieter Dengler went through in his escape from prison during the Vietnam war. Brutal but watchable.
