Remember the Night Reviews

I'm continuing down this rabbit hole of Barbara and will continue on! The second half was heartwarming, and I'll always be a sucker for that. These 2 shine better in Double Indemnity, but Fred MacMurray held his own here in a lighter role. Also, more arsenal for Christmas movies.

Really cute & funny. Classic story of bonding & love amid the adventures & mishaps of life. The piano scene is so beautiful - Stanwyck's eyes & smile are magic. I like that the ending is not the "easy" resolution, but the one that showed how the characters have actually grown.
