not nearly as good as the book. missed a loooot of important details, scenes, and even entire characters.

in my opinion we got robbed on some of the best parts from the book, and where is literally half of the characters that were in the book?? but overall a good movie, however I think I would’ve enjoyed it even more if I didn’t compare it so much to the book! but a 7/10, still love

enermies to lovers..royalty..mlm.. FAV TROPE ALL IN ONE IT COULDNT BE MORE PERFECT! i can quote the whole trailer this movie is engraved in my mind IT WAS KISSABLE it got me kicking my feet like a child UNDERSTAND- i can not get enough of this: the book was MWAH too, HISTORY HUH!

this felt more like a comedy to me tbh bc some of the acting but i still liked it,, i also feel like they left out so many tiny details that i’m glad i read the book before (so sad they cut june out of the movie 3)

With its subversive narrative cleverly wrapped in a cloud of enemies to lovers candy floss, Red, White & Royal Blue’s triumph is that this won’t be the last time we will see a queer fairytale warming hearts and opening minds. I really enjoyed and liked this movie.

LOVE LOVE LOVED IT! A perfect sexy extremely cheesy rom-com for the LGBTQ community that does tremendous justice to Casey McQuiston’s novel. It did feel rushed at times, but Taylor Zakhar Perez and Nick Galitzine’s chemistry more than made up for it!!!

You did not get attached to the characters at all. They gave no room to process anything they went form one scene to the next. The transitions were not that good. And the characters had little to no chemistry

I didn’t feel a lot of chemistry between Alex and Henry (hot take apparently) The enemies to lovers trope just felt rushed & underwhelming. I also found myself cringing uncomfortably at some of the dialogue…I loved the plot though and the message was sweety pie💖

i love the movie sm, but i’m so upset that it’s missing so many characters and scenes from the book. it just makes me sad that most people will miss out on some amazing parts of the story because they watched the movie and didn’t read the book :(

this movie (and book) is just how straight women see gay relationships. The whole movie is them having sex, talking a tiny bit and then having more sex. The characters are underdeveloped and u barley get to know them. its just awful
