Red State

builds tension through the absurd hypocrisy of the antagonists beliefs and actions, their twisted sense of community, and the joy they get out of torturing people
it has no interest in giving you any catharsis either, it’s shocking and unforgiving

I think the idea was there

Watched for Gallner mostly. It wasn’t perfect but I enjoyed it.
