Red Dawn Reviews

Real heart and good writing. The pacing, physical props/environmental storytelling pack a punch. The star studded cast delivers exceptionally. A Cold War classic

American classic

Boring

A classic movie thats american for me and its a hell yeah for me

Super cheesy 80s action flick. Takes place in an alternative timeline of sorts. Kind of approaches so bad it’s good territory. Where’s all the American soldiers? The US relies on a bunch of kids to fight off Russia and Cuba? Yeah, ok.

I loved this movie so much, its so sad but its so good. Screams 80s but in the best way possible

Maybe this movie was crazy at the time cause of the fear that “Russians could attack any moment” and this was literally them falling from the sky. Huge war propaganda movie with a classic 80’s action feel. I was simultaneously bored and interested in wtf was going on.

pretty decent war film. some great shots and impressive action sequences. i think this is held down by the absurdity of the plot and the pretty mediocre acting. definitely has a stacked cast with a good script. feels like propaganda at times

I remembered it being so much better when I was a kid

Underrated War movie

WOLVERINES!!

i know it’s propaganda tho

Cheesy 80s fun. Enjoy 80s Russian Cold War paranoia at its finest.

shit is sad

It was a struggle finishing this movie. I get it for the time, it does feel like a time capsule of what could’ve happened and the fear during the time about it. Patrick Swayze was really good in it but other than that I just didn’t enjoy this movie lol.
