Best horror movie ever in which even the camera guy dies...
it all seems so true and really invite you in this building with the other victims of the massacre!
I recommend to watch it in Spanish, it's even better to catch on the slight touch of dark humor in this work of art!!!

For a film that I had never heard of before, it was pretty damn good and quite unnerving. Anything found footage style has always proved unsettling and this took it to a new level. I will say the English dub is cheesy, but it’s scary and the actors perform splendidly. 9.8/10!!!!!

I had meant to watch REC for years, but never got around to it, and eventually watched Quarantine a little while ago without realising that was the American remake of REC. So having watched that, I’ve just watched REC to compare. REC is so much better. Quarantine is pretty much a frame by frame remake, but REC is definitely the superior version - it’s much more raw and convincing. The camera work is shaky and shoddy, giving it a much more realistic feel compared to the more ‘professionally shot’ Quarantine (despite that also being ‘found camera footage’. It’s not dubbed, so you have to watch this with subtitles, but that doesn’t take anything away from the film and it’s easy to watch and read. This is really creepy, jumpy, very believable, and the ending is scary and very well done. Top marks.
