great acting, i loved the combination of the VR world and the real world
can’t believe the OASIS is actually being created by zuck lol rip humanity

All the different pop culture references make this a very fun watch

Steven Spielberg has basically made the best possible version of this material. He made a heckin fun movie, full of stunning action sequences and laughs and winks at the kids who grew up watching Back to the Future and Jurassic Park and E.T. and Indiana Jones.

To see Spielberg handle a reference-heavy virtual universe. Expected a bloated nostalgia trip, but the visuals and fast pacing completely sucked me in.

What Worked:
• The OASIS honestly looks incredible, like grinding an epic Action RPG.
• Recreating The Shining hotel is genius and totally pops on screen.
• Rylance brings an awkward charm that gives things a deep emotional core.

The Friction:
• The real-world resistance part really dragged for me when pulled from the game.
• The corporate villain honestly felt a bit too cartoonish and generic.

Verdict:
Watch for a high-octane pop-culture block of fun. Skip if CGI overload annoys you.
