If you just want non stop action this is for you. Unfortunately the script and plot are garbage. It’s just an explosion fest and Sly walking around with no top on. Shockingly bad

So obviously what the first should’ve been instead of homeland cop stuff. Cameron must’ve made the difference. Pure 80s action.

More badass.

Stallone owns the role, and the film embraces full-on 80s action spectacle. Compared to the franchise, it’s the first real shift toward over-the-top heroics, laying the groundwork for Rambo’s mythic status without losing its basic appeal.

Yeah, this was my least favorite. The whole “go back to ‘nam to rescue pows” plot was whatever. Still, it had some badass action. I’d rate it “meh,” but I love the franchise too much to completely trash it
