I grew up on this and my son and I watched it tonight. Definitely fun explaining the 80’s to him!

This movie is literally just one and a half hours of the 80s. You’ll either love it for that or hate it for that. For me, it’s definitely stupid and messy, but I had enough fun to say it was worth my time.

Essentially Karate Kid with BMX bikes. I knew nothing of this movie, except for maybe seeing a trailer for it before watching another movie on VHS, and seeing it at the video store. I didn’t hate it, in fact, I was actually pretty entertained by it.

This movie 80’s so hard!! Soundtrack is fire. Small town hero vs evil corporation at bmx race to determine his future. Complete with falling in love in a day and a half and the loyal entourage and evil villain team. So love this film. It’s not a cinematic masterpiece. Just fun.
