Rachel Getting Married

A powerful story of amends and how addiction not only effects the user but the people around them. Very different from Demme’s other work. He seems to have been influenced a lot by Dogme 95; Anne Hathaway delivers her best performance.

Some may say it feels dragged out at some points but I think that’s intentional. This film is meant to feel real, like you are almost there with them. Is this a traditional film where there’s something bad that happens and is resolved by the end? No. It really just abt life’s struggles.

liked it a LOT the second time around. i was not locked in or mature enough to pay attention to the movie the first time.

Good drama that really had a well written story.
