7.5/10 a very solid zombie movie loved Jennifer Carpenter in it she’s such an underrated actress incredible camera work also and solid pacing

Wow!! It’s hard for me to find movies that can actually make me ‘scared’ or bite my nails, but this one succeeded in that. I think this is a really good movie! It felt a little slow in the beginning, but once things start happening they don’t stop. Another great ff movie! 7/10

A near shot-for-shot remake of the Spanish horror [Rec], but even that doesn’t detract from the suspense and execution of this found footage horror-thriller. One of the best of that genre, and for good reason. Deeply disturbing and unforgettable.

Nowhere near as good as the original but if you hate movies with subtitles, this one’s for you!

Very predictable but good! I liked the way it was filmed, the story was decent and characters were likeable.

i liked it except the camera man pov, it got messy and complicated to follow

I enjoyed this, but it lacks that special Something that made the original (REC) iconic and horrifying. If you enjoyed this or the concept intrigued you, check out REC!

the camera knew what to capture and not, the setting and entirety of the plot was awesomely made. without talking about the acting of everyone, which was so interesting to watch.

Debra Morgan getting dragged into the darkness by a witch looking ass was not on my Christmas list.

Really enjoyed this. Great story, creepy and jumpy throughout, and looks good. Great ending too. I saw this before realising that it was an American remake of REC. I’ve since watched that, and have seen that Quarantine is a frame by frame copy, BUT, I do feel REC is just that much better. Although the ‘found footage’ camera work from Quarantine looks good, the footage from REC is so much more convincing. Out of the two of them, I would recommend you watch REC, but this really is a good version.

Imagine you spend 10 years of your life making cheese, then you get a brick, cover the cheese onto the brick and then throw it as hard as you can right at my face.
That’s how it felt watching this movie.

This was a good remake of Rec. Though I definitely prefer the original.

Unexpected ending. Great movie.

7/10 it’s not bad at all. But compared to the original it’s awful. Doesn’t hit the same vibe at all, only time I thought I was on the original film was the ending sequence.
