it’s terrible. full of military propaganda and anti-POC sentiment. absolute trash in my opinion. woman gives up all her morals for the “love” of a military obsessed man who doesn’t even treat her right. 0/10

it had some of my favorite tropes, enemies to lovers, fake relationship to real…. but i cant get over how it never addressed their political differences. The fact that he was republican, misogynistic, racist, and against immigrants (her literal family) is not redeemable.

it’s absolutely disgusting how the racism is just brushed off while the main character is just the perfect portrayal of white feminism and performative activism. she abandons her morals for a dude that would call ICE on her if she was an undocumented immigrant. fuck this movie.

Was cringing in just about every scene. Reminds me of the romance movies that the Lifetime Network makes😬

Dont like how they shared political views throughout the movie. I loved it bc of how they gradually fell in love with one other, sorta enemies to lovers trope, and comforted each other in their own times of struggle. The vid of them after he gets out of prison is so cute i cant-😭

Wow… this movie is just breathe taking and beautiful. I love romance movies but this is just beautiful. The characters slow love story is just incredibly well done. I don’t think I’ve ever loved two characters more. Just beautiful.

girl falls in love with asshole completely disregarding her morals

it’s kind of cute but the way she dropped all her morals for his is very questionable and i don’t enjoy that. he literally called her mom illegal and she got over it in days. their very different political differences shouldn’t have made them work, but she changes for him. 5/10

once again… i only watched for nicholas galitzine… it was entertaining but i don’t like the fact that she abandoned what she stood for bc of a man….he was very hot though… and she has a beautiful voice but i wish she sang less srry

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’m a sucker for romance. The movie was based on a story about a woman who had diabetes and couldn’t afford her insulin. She met a man who was in the military and they had a fake marriage to get the benefits. Pretending turns into real feelings but didn’t come fast enough.

Acting was mediocre, so many rushed and unfulfilled scenes, and why was this 2 HOURS LONG😭

this would have been a like if she didn’t have her hair shoved into the collar of her shirt the entire movie. maybe it was a symbolic choice that went completely over my head, but the line was crossed the second i saw the trend continued at her best friends funeral.
