Is it bad that I actually liked this more than the original?

It was weird seeing Norman over 2 decades later in color with some other major differences. This movie is slept on but def had some flaws. It just feels somewhat low quality. The whole my mother thing also got kinda old but the twist was crazy. Solid plot and acting. 7/10

Absolutely incredible. So underrated it’s crazy. This movie is a must-watch. The pacing is incredible and the twists are so well-placed that it never feels like you have the whole picture of what’s actually happening. It’s also incredibly tragic.

The plot moment to moment was unexpected which kept me on my toes throughout the whole thing. I was very invested in Norman’s story especially as he continues to spiral out of control. The music is extremely effective for its scares which at times made me more scared than the…

Truly an underrated sequel with great twists that you don't see often when they're made 20+ years after the original. Meg Tilly isn't the greatest actress, but she's really good here, and it would've been cool to see more of her in stuff or have a bigger name like her sister.

I quite like this sequel. did feel so bad for Norman he did not deserve what those two women did to him he was trying to better himself.

A sequel we really didn’t need but we got anyway. The story was pretty slow but for the sequel being made 22 years after the original it wasn’t that bad.

It’s fun watching a movie and liking it almost as much as the original. Great movie, awesome story line and acting. Overall an awesome movie but the original can never be beat.

Good movie. I think it was better than the first. Had a lot going on but it was all explained excellently. Excited to watch the 3 movie.
