So here's the thing, people said this movie was kinda slow but I was watching it at 11 pm and Netflix said it would be off Netflix by 12 am so I was watching it at 1.5 speed hoping to watch as much as I could before it cut out and honestly, pacing was great. Watch at 1.5x 7.7/10

What an awesome sci fi that makes you really think about the origin of life and why are creators were jacked af yet we’ve become a nation of soy boys

This is one of the worst movies I have ever watched I hate it I hate it I hate it

I’m so torn on this one. Visuals and score are a masterpiece. The story however, leaves more questions than answers. The story ends up being rather lackluster up until the very end. It’s a good watch but I’m not so sure it’s rewatchable.

This movie was so… freaking… nuts. Just like balls to the wall, alien movie on crack, really nice directing and visuals, super cool and gross effects, a really hot Android who became really not hot and evil, a shockingly badass final girl, big mean whit men, and Idris Elba. Nice.

I liked this and thought it was interesting. It was a good movie, but left me with more questions than answers, and I kept looking for connections to the original film which had me overanalysing everything.

ahhh so these are the fucks that look like the final boss from alien romulus. okay this all makes sense now.

still can’t tell if all of the alien movies are connected, gotta do some research.

i am loving it tho. shit creeps me out but in a good way haha.

this film definitely didn’t flop tho. incredible production design. vfx and sfx are phenomenal. it being from 2012 and have this high production value gives it a lot of points.

Started the series, going in order. Thought this one was interesting and loved learning the dynamic that will carry on throughout the movies and the new tv show. Overall really liked it, not really scary more of a gross thriller of that makes sense.

Didn’t expect that alien lore will be this complex, and yet I’m here for it. It’s just that there are too many questionable decisions made by the characters thus made it less likeable. As far as I’m concerned, I didn’t even care about them lol

Worst movie out of the Alien Franchise

I went into this movie hoping to enjoy this a lot more than I did but I at least thought this was better than Alien 3 and Alien: resurrection. I liked the plot and there were some good Sci-Fi horror scenes I enjoyed but I was let down with some of the execution of the story

A stunning Science-Fiction discovery on creation that is deeply flawed and ambitious with plot holes that a scientist with recent invasive surgery could fall in.

That was crazy! That 3rd act was insane and the ending was scary. The visuals and sets were amazing, the acting and actors were great. Loved having ridley Scott back to build on the lore of aliens.

Good origin so far. I have questions but see if the next one answers any.

It's probably the best movie in the franchise, after aliens 1 and 2. I was in between liking and loving, but some things held me back. Like the fact we didn't really learn about the origin even though this is an origin story and the fact there wasn't enough character development. Production wise, this is absolutely stunning. The sound design and score are beastly. I don't have much to say about the acting, casting, and dialogue because we were starved, but I liked it. Honestly, it feels like a homage to 'Alien', a great one. I was mind blown by the tense action sequences, though.

Decent movie, if your looking for an Alien movie this ain’t it though

To be honest I thought this film was kind of mid.
This really made me disappointed and a big letdown than the first two Alien films in the franchise.
But the movie was very well made but the characters was not so likable except Michael Fassbender’s character.

One question that leads to more questions all of them with no answers, which is to say Prometheus is a work that leaves us really wanting more, and what an amazing cast we have here, clearly no one outshined the other!
