A beautifully shot cosmic horror. And the score was perfection 👌9/10

What a stupid plot, lol, and such idiotic and easy writing and characters. Some moments were cool, a lot were quite dull. Alice Cooper cameo is fun, but, fuck you John Carpenter for trying to say all homeless people are both as easy to control as fucking insects and also evil and out to get you.

6/10 it’s just wacky and a very strange plot

Prince of Darkness is slow-burn horror with an apocalyptic edge. It’s eerie, philosophical, and totally Carpenter. Not as punchy as The Thing, but it lingers in your mind. Great atmosphere and unsettling dread throughout.

I gave all the characters new names and made up a huge, highly confusing and terribly incestous family tree. I had a LOT of fun.

Cool concept for a movie. The special effects were great. 3rd act was crazy.

"Liquid Satan" is so insane a concept that it just has to fail, but Carpenter weaves the impossible because he's fucking John Carpenter

I really enjoyed this one. A super underrated John Carpenter film led by the always great Donald Pleasence. This one had some truly horrific moments. Awesome movie.

Maybe I expected too much since it was Carpenter, but it just didn’t connect with me. Felt like 2 genres of horror forcibly mashed together and it just didn’t quite work.

It is good but I was a bit confused
