this movie made me sob uncontrollably. like this is the saddest movie i’ve ever watch. it’s so raw it’s good.

omgosh, love this film but the more I watch it. The more I hate myself for understanding it even on a deeper level personally. If you watch this at a young age, then you’ll more likely have a lesser chance of it becoming something you endure (sorry if that offends ppl).

sad storyline but good movie.

This isn’t a movie that is good or bad it has you in a scenario of a girl who struggles in society and home. Now most people who are my race deems it as a funny movie and call plus sized darkskinned women such as me Precious… Watching this now makes me view those whom… (1/2)

This movie was very sorrowful, but it also had an incredibly beautiful storyline. For precious girls everywhere ❤️

“Loving” this is weird af, but I need to give it the highest rating. The editing and tone shifts are well placed to show emotional turmoil. This movie depicts horrific abuse very well. I completely understand that it’s not for everyone, but for many, it will hit hard.

Idk why i always assumed this was a funny movie…but now im kinda disturbed and can’t stop thinking about it 😕

very good but very sad, i would not watch this with my parents even though they’ve most likely already watched it, this movie really made me rethink my life choices and realise that others have it worse than i do

while its message is clear and compelling, this is a messy film with overstated performances and wildly chaotic visuals, as well as editing. certain scenes were downright disturbing. at times, incredibly powerful

Award winning movie. Why wouldn’t you watch this movie. The fried chicken scene and the running up the stairs scene and the I shut my fat acc up. Great moments to watch.

this was a really hard watch. i think any child/ person who is a child of abuse has deep layers to this. but precious had such a fucked up life and it just kept knocking her down. thank god for that group. this actress i know won many awards the year this came out. it was well deserved, i have been putting off this movie for years and i finally just decided to watch tonight and it’s such a inspiring and touching story. thank you to those who wrote and filmed this (also Mariah Carey randomly being in this was literally the cherry on top)
