Porco Rosso

I really didn’t like this movie. Ofc it’s ghibli so it has great animating but even if it’s because of the year it’s based on/made on. It was very sexist and clear to see on that. Porco rosso is a playboy. It’s understandable why he got cursed to be a pig. As he acts like one

better be a pig than a fascist

Pretty kickass movie. I hated the fact that the ending felt rushed, but aside from that it was a damn near perfect movie. I want a sequel

“I’d rather be a pig than a fascist. 😎🐖”

Although I think some things in this are weaker than other studio Ghibli movies, it’s ultimately a fun time watching this cool ass pig go about his shit in a nonchalant way. I really liked the dub voice for him, it makes lines like, “I’d rather be a pig than a fascist” and other great lines like that sound awesome.

My score: 8/10
