Super realistic, look into the future almost.

I can’t believe this actually happened

This film holds up surprisingly well on a narrative level. And having not seein it since I was young, there are a lot of darker themes about human violence than I remember, creating much less of an us vs them and more of a classic tragic hero story. Excited for the this rewatch!

I like this original movie because of its raw form. I like the take of the alternate world with apes behaving like humans. Great to see the power dynamic switch as humans are treated like animals. Entertaining movie that made me appreciate old film production.
