This was genuinely one of the greatest disappointments. I was so excited but. Nah. Not again. I don’t want to say don’t ho see it, but Mia Goth playing the main character is this movies one lifeline. “She did great!!”. Yes she did; but for what? What did all the effort get us.MID

pearl is my joker. i love the context this gives to X and the parallels between maxine and pearl, it’s tone is so well done, the music and setting is just perfect and the acting is next level, the ending gave me goosebumps, i can’t wait for the next movie

loved it simply bc mia goth did so well playing a psychotic ass character. i absolutely loved her performance in x and on this one. 8/10

I may be alone here, but I really enjoyed this movie over “X”. The story was a lot more simple and Mia Goth is even more amazing here.

Oh my god this movie was incredible. A24 never misses. I absolutely love the music, lighting, cinematography, and editing. Everything about this movie was perfect. I still prefer X but this is still amazing.

Why..? This movie was so TERRIBLE!! it’s so sad to see such a reputable production company like A24 make such a incomprehensible film like pearl. They could have made this such a good film but they missed the mark by a landslide. What is this film even about?? I am embarrassed..

I liked the format it was filmed, like wizard of oz meets slasher flick. Build up of insanity and suspense until finally reach that horrifying peak. Leaves you with an eerie vibe especially at the end credit scene where she’s smiling towards the audience.

8/10 Mia Goth is such a good actress!! i liked this movie way more than X, and i definitely got interested in this movie a lot faster than i did with X. this is a rlly good movie. 💚

6/10? appreciate it as an art but not my style, still a beautiful film

It was a very strangly executed movie, however This movie is the first movie I've ever watched that I've been able to appreciate how difficult and well executed someone's acting is while watching it

Honestly one of my least favorite horror/thriller movies. I was just kind of bored. But mia goth you KILLED the acting of pearl🙌🏼🙌🏼
