I don’t know why I loved this. Usually this type of movie bores me. For some reason I bought into everything. The pacing and structure elevates the film to account for the lack of spectacle. The cast is great and the writing is wonderful. A beautiful message about life.

I found this one very boring but my dad really had an emotional connection with this one and won’t stop watching it so there must be something good about it.

Such a peaceful and lovely film, a true appreciation for the little things in life

Not ordinary love story. Strange people who tryna fall in love again and find themselves. Cinematography and acting is perfect

The movie was very poetic in a sense that it shows the daily repetitive life of a pretty average couple, there was just nothing interesting about the movie and I guess that was the point but it just wasn’t my cup of tea

this one really made me smile. i just love how special storytelling can be. paterson is simple but really effective. absolutely lovely.

Seventh film for my film narrative class.

This was really well done. Very well pacing with a very interesting story.

I also enjoyed the poetry as well.

Adam Driver did well in this, even though his character is mostly emotionless, i like the way he used his voice to pronounce the poems.

Low stimulating and a refreshing story that feels like watching a novel

Pretty slow, but it was a pretty little film

apenas uma vida normal e ordinária. lindo.

Painfully slow with no real reward. However, this is the kinda movie I can see myself eventually seeing as a comfort movie, something i’d want to watch when life gets busy

Yeah I agree

I’m glad this movie exists and I’m happy I watched it one time, but will NOT be watching it again. It’s a contrarian movie that doesn’t fit a good story but rather pokes at our societal ways without much to add to the conversation. But whaddya know, we like drama in our stories.

It is very slow; it is more like a poem than a story even. And I don't usually like poetry. But this was just lovely if you have time and don't mind that kind of film. one of my favorites I've seen in a long while.
