somehow went into this movie thinking that it was about zombies. don’t ask me how i do not know

this movie will forever have my heart.. the acting, writing and the twist 🫠 soooo good

To get the full authentic experience I watched without subtitles and not dubbed. Didn’t really understand it too well, as my Korean isn’t great, but the story seemed pretty good. Would watch again

This is what a true masterpiece looks like. Cinematography, score, editing… everything’s absolutely perfect. Nothing is placed without purpose. Not a single line of dialogue is wasted. It would be a shame if anyone fails to watch this magnificent movie.

Well it's not a bad movie it's just that the whole plot of the movie and the storyline is quite confusing and hard to follow.

The scene when both families were in living room is enough to show you why this masterpiece deserve the OSCARS

after watching for the second time, this movie is so much more infectious than i remembered. it forces you to contemplate every little detail from the score, cinematography, cast, pace, etc. it’s fucking intense and insane in the absence of chaos. the overwhelming theme of ‘smell’ captivated me entirely and compels one to empathize more than one might due to the Kim’s devious exploits. but the Park’s are pretty likable which just speaks volumes to the writing… even people you want to hate, you kinda can’t.

This movie is an absolute cinematic masterpiece!. It’s one of those movies where u need to analyze characters and be aware of items and their significance.

Analyzed it for a class and throughout the process, I realized the reason why it won many oscars.

This movie sucked me in! Can’t believe I’m just now watching it. Had me audibly gasping in my airplane seat.

Super high on the like list. So crazy… not what I expected, but wow the surprise was so good. Fantastic story. Enjoyable the entire time, from beginning to end.
The movies messages were conveyed with symbolism and creativity. Writing was fantastic.

– Mr. Kim did NOT have to kill Mr. Park just because he smelled bad 😭😭😭
– If Ki-Jung had survived, the family could’ve lived happily ever after no way anyone was finding out about the bunker
– Mr. Kim hiding in the bunker at the end was literally hidden in plain sight… what a W

I get the hype now

maybe i went into this movie with ridiculously high expectations but i really thought i’d love it. instead it just felt… long. so very long. i swear it took four hours to watch the whole thing
