The most overlooked movie in the series. Interesting plot and characters. Kind of like Chronicle but with possession instead of super powers. Feels like it’s own film while still being connected to the others in the bunch.

BOYY THAT WAS A RIDE

honestly, i really wanted to like this one cuz of jumpscares but it was kinda boring

Insane as usual! Not as unique of a directing style and a bit of a wonky script, but I really appreciate the change in pace with the setting and characters. I do wish the super crazy supernatural visuals were more practical feeling like the rest of the series. Not bad tho!

Best one in the franchise imo

It’s super funny at a lot of parts it was funny and as the movie was going on it got scarier and scarier which I loved so a 10/10

This one out of all the movies is my favorite. The Brujaria lore in this was pretty enjoyable, and I like how it tied in a few things to previous. If you stopped somewhere in this franchise, check this one out 👌🏽

One of the best horror movies to watch, having a bit of comedy and lots of jump scares to go with it absolutely love it.

I wanted to see how this spinoff connects to the lore. It’s meh; the apartment complex is a cool switch-up, but loses that isolated dread.

What Worked:
• Jesse goofing with his new powers is super fun and a fresh twist.
• The gritty apartment setting and creepy downstairs neighbor is a vibe I totally dug.
• The crazy time-travel tie-in to the first movie totally blew my mind.

The Friction:
• The action-packed shootout ending felt super out of place for me.
• Jumpscares felt recycled, relying way too much on sudden loud noises.
• The middle really dragged for me while they just messed around with levitation.

Verdict:
It’s meh. Watch for wild lore connections. Skip if action endings annoy you.

This was unexpectedly a great follow up to the last movie and really keeps the overall plot line going
