Paranormal Activity: Next of Kin

Very bad and disappointing. I don’t like it and I don’t understand it. Terrible “found footage” movie, was very scripted. Dale was hilarious. Margot was awful to watch, very unlikeable. This was trying too hard. Marketing this as a Paranormal Activity movie was the wrong choice.

Good movie but not at all related or even similar in tone to the rest of the Paranormal Activity franchise. I feel like it would have been much better received if released on its own rather than try to tie into the PA franchise.

Is Paranormal Activity in the room with us? This really should have just been a standalone titled Next of Kin.

It took me a while to get into the story since everything was confusing and kinda awkward at the beginning, but I ended up liking it! It reminded me of “As above so below” in some ways.
