Paranormal Activity: Next of Kin

Very bad and disappointing. I don’t like it and I don’t understand it. Terrible “found footage” movie, was very scripted. Dale was hilarious. Margot was awful to watch, very unlikeable. This was trying too hard. Marketing this as a Paranormal Activity movie was the wrong choice.

Good movie but not at all related or even similar in tone to the rest of the Paranormal Activity franchise. I feel like it would have been much better received if released on its own rather than try to tie into the PA franchise.

4/5. It has a very slow build up but I feel like it was one of the better paranormal activity movies. I don’t mind that it didn’t follow the original story line. The fact there was a cult in it, correlated enough for me.
