Paranormal Activity: Next of Kin

Very bad and disappointing. I don’t like it and I don’t understand it. Terrible “found footage” movie, was very scripted. Dale was hilarious. Margot was awful to watch, very unlikeable. This was trying too hard. Marketing this as a Paranormal Activity movie was the wrong choice.

Good movie but not at all related or even similar in tone to the rest of the Paranormal Activity franchise. I feel like it would have been much better received if released on its own rather than try to tie into the PA franchise.

I genuinely think this movie is SUPER cool. But also… it doesn’t feel like a Paranormal Activity movie whatsoever. It’s one of those modern additions that feels like the creators wanted to make their own movie, but couldn’t get it approved unless it was under a franchise.
