Watched a while ago but I had to point out that this has a higher rotten tomato scored than citizen Kane. ;) ​​​​​​​​​

I've seen 3 of King's movies and I think I could easily spot his next. His style growls through the fantasy-fueled imagery like the train derailing emotion. It stays platformed by constantly reminding us that this cgi (marmalade-loving) bear just like any of us, feels empathy. I love how the casting went full British with prominent figures, like Hugh Grant who put his versatility on full display. Story-wise, it's a little all over the place, especially with the prison stuff, but the music, comedy and overall messages were bearilliant.

Paddington has grown more on me as time goes on. I liked this movie because of paddington himself, the emotional connection, the antagonist, and perfect ending.

First one a tiny bit better than this but still amazing. The ending so happy sad
