Pacific Rim: Uprising

The second one definitely wasn’t as good as the first but still pretty cool. I said earlier that robots and monsters fighting never gets old. Here it got a bit old. But still a really cool film.

Should’ve never been written. A horrid offense to its predecessor and yet another example of male writers killing off incredible female characters to further the plot of their lesser male counterparts. Mako Mori deserved so much better.

It's immediately apparent Guillermo del Toro had nothing to do with this. Basically anything good from the first movie is bad in this. Characters are bland. Plot is stupid. This has none of the charm of the original. I know the first one had its flaws but this is shamefully bad.

I don’t have a lot to say about this lol some of the fights were cool

All these new characters and idgaf about a single one of them. The amount of time i reacted with “what the hell, sure” to what was going on was astounding
