Outland

Kinda slow. The fights are weak. The acting is okay. Story was fine. No real big surprises or plot twists. Pretty mid all in all.

Always looking for sci-fi set on other planets of our Solar System. The setting here is atmospheric, w/ great OST & practical FX. It's basically High Noon in space, but less poignant. Parts of the story are predictable, others not. It's still a fun time. Great final showdown.

I love sci-fi, so I was anticipating this one. Sean Connery was good in this, but it left me with something to be desired. The intrigue didn’t quite live up to its potential. Goes down the rabbit hole a bit.
