7/1/26: Damn that was good. Jane Greer is so hot ohhhh my god. My favorite femme fatale in any noir by far!!

Main performances are very good and a great mystery throughout makes it’s a great classic noir

20% of the film was dedicated to flicking a cigarette in any location lol. You got everything you need in a great noir. Great cast, dames, atmosphere, and witty dialogue. I won't spoil it, but the scene with the fishing hook being used as a weapon was hilarious.
