started out boring and gradually got better. it’s just ok. it felt very up and down to me tho like they didn’t keep up the momentum throughout the film?? like it would finally get a bit creepy but instead of raising tension it’d drop to being boring again ig idk how to explain

While the rote screenwriting doesn’t kill the dark spirit of the world’s creepiest board game, it doesn’t challenge it, either. It has no memorable characters, no memorable ideas, and indifferent acting. Watching it is like starting at a dumb board for an hour and a half.

like a high meh for me, alright kills and plots but just overall boring. it could’ve been better but it just wasn’t kicking it

I watched it when I was 10 with my friend. this even got my hands sweating by the stress and fear back in the day. This was my first scary movie, now im so obsessed with them. Wouldnt watch it again cause it wouldnt scare me the same way. def recommend!
