Not as good as the first one.

This movie just sucked

while i definitely think the first film is better in a lot of ways and has a much cooler atmosphere, i'll always be impressed with how creative this prequel is and how it still manages to surprise you even after watching the first movie
it's so fun to see people's reactions to it

I didn’t like the direction the story took—it felt like a complete 180. It honestly felt like a different movie from the same series rather than a true sequel. Such wasted potential.

Definitely not as great as the first movie, I couldn’t stop noticing the inconsistencies of Esther’s body/obvious body double, and the finale was RUSHED, but I absolutely love just how messy and toxic this was lmao. This was like LifeTime Tubi soap opera crazy levels of MESS💀

Bad

Yep, shit was fire and it perfectly matched up with the first movie. From start to finish this was a very interesting movie. The twist that Esther never disappeared but was murdered was crazy and I never saw that coming. The end was also fire (haha get it, fire like their house)

While there is a fair bit of blood left on the walls, floor and elsewhere, this is more of a psychological thriller than a slasher flick, and is far the better for it.

A very “meh” movie until the twist about a third of the way through. After that, it was a LOT more fun!

I have heard people say this is good but I really did not like how they made esther the good guy and how bad the acting was. It was more scary in my opinion but the plot was very unrealistic compared to the first one. 65/100

I didn’t think they could do a follow up this good if you know the first movie. I was wrong. What a twist I didn’t expect. Very well done. Isabella is just as phenomenal as before. Julia stiles also surprised me.
