Orion and the Dark

the movie was pretty dark at some points (do you get it)

Cute little story about overcoming a very rational fear of the dark. Kind of felt like Inside Out - instead of emotions there are “night entities” that hold duties to help people sleep, or keep them up. Gets a little jumbled towards the end with the time traveling, but overall 👌🏾

I love storytellers telling stories about stories and storytelling. The animation and soundtrack felt refreshingly energetic. Especially with the beautiful visual imagery. The story itself turned into too much too fast, but I can't complain because the messaging was wonderful, I think. Although being targeted to a younger audience, I don't think many kids would like this for the creepiness. Some designs and ideas were a lot better than others, but all in all, I'd say the writing, voice acting, animation, and soundtrack made this a fun watch.

Sure. Pretty sure I watched it during a family movie night. It was my sister choice. But ya, why not.

It wasn’t bad but even tho I watched in not long ago i genuinely don’t remember the story at all. Like it didn’t stand out to me but I’m sure it wasn’t like bad.
