8/10 love a good creature feature, the design was decent. And enjoyed the character’s progression on the island

It balances folklore and history. The Orang Ikan, a scaly nod to Creature from the Black Lagoon, embodies regional myth & nostalgia. In the crucible of war, two soldiers find fragile brotherhood. A fun creature feature.

This was just absolutely not it for me. I did not enjoy at all 🤷🏻‍♀️

shame. monster is fun but the Gill is a hodge podge of other people's ideas without the talent or skill to pull it off.

The perfect cross between Creature From the Black Lagoon and Predator

It's a fun creature feature with a heartfelt story to follow. It is a little drawn out but there are some cool shots and effects plus a beautiful shooting location.
