Honestly, this is one of the best war movies to come out of china. The action sequences were just insane from start to finish. Non-stop explosions, gunfights, all delivered on a huge scale. Never a dull moment. They really pulled out all the stops production-wise too. The practical effects for deaths and injuries looked gritty as hell. Some of the bigger cg explosions had a funny look at times but who cares, there was so much mayhem overall
