As hopeless romantic, I found this movie realistic and heartbreaking. Just a two desperate lovers who are in tropes of right people wrong timing. The concept was interesting and the ending was wrenching.

cannot believe i forgot about this movie but now i realize this is what the show was based off of and it all makes sense

PERSONALLY, there wasn't much that happened, but I do have to admit the end destroyed me, I don't mind it at all, but just as the movie was really starting to get good...yeah, you know what happened
I can definitely see this in a way, being some people's comfort movie though

After watching the tv series, this just didn’t hit like I was hoping it to 😩 the show depicts the characters and the story way better

Should’ve watched it before the tv show ugh. But To be honest TV show did it better in portraying the emotions etc. Idk maybe that’s just me. The film is raw and pure which is amazing for its time. But something is missing like depth. Loved it still but maybe my op is biased ???

This is way better then the series. But Dexter is still just a spoiled white boy who thinks he deserves everything. I don’t get why people feel so bad for him. Like I get why at the end but through his life he was just a rich annoying kid. At least Emma isn’t a preacher here🥰

saw that truck coming from a mile away. Too bad she didn’t. Anyways, movie was alright👍🏼

oh how this film broke my heart but it’s also my comfort movie somehow. i loved the quote by emma “i love you dexter but i just don’t like you anymore”.The film gave me hope that no matter what, true love always finds its way back, tho in this film not for long which breaks me:(

I loved this movie so much! This movie had me going through every type of emotion. I have honestly learned a lot from it too. One day is a beautiful movie and will lead you to many tears. I loved everything about it and loved how the end was lead, sad but refreshing.

listen. the movie was ok BUT— their relationship made me mad until it didn’t anymore. everything was sweet and cute for a while and then BOOM… wtf was that. no i haven’t recovered. honestly thought the ending came out of nowhere. probably wouldn’t watch it again unless forced to

this is an amazing movie. it made me cry so much i couldn’t breathe.

The book destroyed me. Tv show destroyed me two years ago, decided I needed to feel something today.. destroyed yet again 🫡

GOD it was sad, the slowburn was so well done, but god why that ending was devastating

Not sure why this was on my queued bc I watched this like 9 years ago. Very special film. Can only watch once and never again though, too emotional for me, so I don’t even remember much.
