Underrated film. The plot is decent and Colin Farrell delivers a great performance. Highly recommend this one

Very cute and Colin Farrell is really the only reason this movie is decent … he makes the most of any of his characters and with such a mediocre cast/script as well as it’s a bit of a childish story with some more mature content slipped in here and there 🦭🌊🧜🏼‍♀️

This is a beautiful, gritty, Irish love story, filled with just the right amounts of mirth and pain, myth and harsh reality, woven into the story of a struggling fisherman sharing custody of his disabled daughter. Everything changes the day Ondine gets caught in his nets.

Is it cheesy? Sure. But it’s my kind of cheesy.
