Once Upon a Time in America

I finally plucked up the courage and watched Once Upon a Time in America. The soundtracks are great and the movie is about the grand illusion of the American Dream. I could sum this movie up as a mix between The Untouchables and The Godfather.

Beautiful story it’s a long slow burn but damn does the story pull you in and shows how the life of a criminal isn’t all that

Cinema. Evidence that it is possible for a long film to have great pacing, driving by a great plot, with memorable performances and moments which make you remember why you love cinema. This is probably me just being pretentious, but this film is a must for any cinema lover.

4 hours of absolute tripe. appreciate the filmmaking but did not enjoy the pace, characters, or story.
