There’s no more slow burn in romance movies is there…
I feel like it tried to be 2 diff things at once:
1) A film that’s a little ridiculous & doesn’t take itself seriously 2) a serious movie w an actual business plotIdk if I explained my thoughts correctly but it didn’t work imo

I loveeeee Brett Goldstein but WTF was this. Only reason it’s not getting a thumbs down is cause it was so cringey and uncomfy that it was funny af. Like WTF was that British room scene?!? She has this huge fetish for British guys and we don’t find out till now? There’s no way she wouldn’t have been revealing that obsession subconsciously throughout their whole fling. Plot was shakey and acting cringe lol.
