PERFECT!!! happy ending-ish but I absolutely loved this movie!! I can’t even pinpoint why it was just something about the subtlety and the ambience just chefs kiss!! Plus Sammy from dance academy is so fine!!! They both were honestly 😩👏🏾👏🏾

slow paced filming of a fast paced love story makes it magnetic and full of passion. my one critique is that some choices were based in aesthetics and did not seem to anchor to the story. truly stunning though

People complain about the pace, and sure it’s slow, but that’s an element that made it so raw in my opinion. The cinematography, the actions, it was entrancing and touching. Something about this movie left me feeling empty but also full of love and emotion.

It’s a nice movie and I enjoyed elements of it but had problems with it too. I really am starting to hate the trope of younger guy and older guy but the love means more to the younger guy.

Normally I hate a jump in time but I really enjoyed it in this movie. It’s sad… timing. But this movie explores that in a very real, interesting way.
